FAQ

Who Should Come?

Since Mobile Dev Camps are all about development, we want developers, developers, developers! Experience on any of the platforms isn’t necessary, as should be some introductory talks to help you get going. If you’re an old mobile hand, we hope you’ll come to share your knowledge and demo your apps. Of course, you can still get a lot out of the event if you’re not a developer. so if you’re interested in the future of mobile applications come on out! Finally, we encourage you to come even if you’re not based in Amsterdam, and we can help you to find a place to crash.

What is the Hackathon?
The Hackathon is what we’re calling our open development sessions where we all just set up our machines and get to work on making apps. If you
like hanging out with lots of developers and making fun apps in record time, the Hackathon is for you. And thanks to our sponsors, we often have prizes!

Can I bring an existing application I’ve developed to the Hackathon?
Please do, as that way you can get help finishing it and also inspire other people. There is also time to demo apps.

Can I present?

Of course! We also leave time slots open so people can propose topics on the day of the event. Please contact me at peter@mobiledevcamp.eu if you want to sign up.

I’m looking to hire a developer. How do I do that?
Just come and by and see what people are doing. You may also want to come to our demo sessions to see finished applications.
